Why We Serve

At Family Baptist Church, we believe that serving is a natural response to God’s love.

We serve not to be seen, but to reflect Christ—by meeting real needs, building relationships, and strengthening our community. Whether inside the church or out in the city, service is one of the ways we grow spiritually together.

Our calling extends beyond the church walls. We are committed to serving the Flint community through outreach, partnerships, and acts of compassion that demonstrate God’s love in practical ways.
